Writer, poet, writing coach and workshop instructor Liz deJesus will be among the guests at The First State Comic Con this coming Sunday (January 14) at the Mill Creek Fire Hall, 3900 Kirkwood Highway, Marshallton (Wilmington) Delaware.
Liz DeJesus, according to her website biography, has been writing “for as long as she was capable of holding a pen.” Her speciality is young adult drama and young adult fantasy tales. Born in Puerto Rico, she first came to attention with the publication of The Jackets in March 2011, and is best known for the Frost fantasy series, beginning with First Frost in 2015 and two sequels. Her most recent novel is Mugshots.
DeJesus has also written two comic book series, Zombie Ever After (2014) and Decode.
She is also the co-founder of the Hockessin Art And Book Fair and Anime Day.
