We’ve got just 5 hours left in the Kickstarter campaign, and we're 89% funded, just $494 short of our goal.
Since the campaign started strong, we didn't think this would wind up being a squeaker. But those mid-campaign doldrums were especially pronounced, and now we're at the end of the campaign nervously hoping we'll meet our goal.
This only underlines how cherished and important your support is. This project is a real labor of love, the product of years of isolated work and financial cost. It's been the most rewarding work of my life and the reason I get up in the morning, but it's hard not to doubt. Every pledge, at any level, feels like encouragement to keep going. I wish I could find the words to communicate how much it means!
Of course, this need not be why you pledged! If you just want the book, that's great too! If we make our goal, we'll begin fulfilling rewards and ordering the printed editions immediately.
