Album Challenge, Day One: 10 Records That Made An Impact On Me

Over on Facebook  (where I masquerade as Mike Clarke) a good friend from my college days nominated me for the Album Challenge:  List 10 records that made an impact on yourself, one per day in no particular order, and then nominate another person each day to take up the challenge.  (Note: I'm not a fan of chain-letter type posts where you have to pass it on.  If anyone reading this would like to join in and participate in the fun (which it is) just leave a comment here with your name, and then I'll nominate you for the Album Challenge.  Otherwise, that's one part of the challenge that I may just leave incomplete.)
