NOW WHAT? Quite a lot, actually.   Sure, our publishing plans have shifted down the calendar by at least 4 weeks due to the industry-wide precautions taken to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. And, yes, no new comics are being shipped to comic shops anywhere for the same duration. But you should know that we at AfterShock – along with our creator partners – are still at work telling the stories that we’re so looking forward to sharing with you. Eventually. Until then, this newsletter and our social platforms will attempt to turn your attention to critically acclaimed series you may have missed the first time around or discovered later in their runs – and it’s very likely their collected editions are available through YOUR Local Comic Shop. Plus, over on our website, we’re posting a page a day, every day, from the very beginning of many of the titles that helped put AfterShock on the map, starting with ROUGH RIDERS #1. Over on Instagram, you’ll be treated to preview pages from upcoming debuts like DISASTER INC. #1 and DEAD DAY #1, as well as second and third issues of our most recent launches. Our Facebook page and Twitter feed will open windows into the creative process, letting you check out work in progress from many of the artists with whom we work. We’ll also alert you to creator appearances on some of the most engaging podcasts going, including John Siuntres’ Word Balloon, which we’re proud to sponsor. And we’ll continue to shout out to Local Comic Shops across North America and around the world. They remain the best places from which to get our collected editions and graphic novels.
