Stay-At-Home Theater: The House of the Devil (Official Trailer)

A slow-building, atmospheric suspenseful horror movie that delivers its' chills with great impact in the last reel.  Good acting, good script. Unfortunately, it failed to build a word-of-mouth audience upon it's 2008-2009 release. Watched this on the SHUDDER streaming service as part of Joe Bob Brigg's The Last Drive-In - - a great feature with plenty of amusing commentary and movie facts from the legend of horror movie hosts. Worth the $10 per month fee just for Joe Bob alone.
