Stay-At-Home Theater: BLACKkKLANSMAN is based on a true story, albeit highly dramatized for the cinematic audience. It's a powerful story that plays to dark comedy in places but doesn't overdo it. The film serves as sad commentary on the latent racism that exists under the surface and rises again whenever any in authority empowers the haters.
