ZENESCOPE Virtual Beach Con Spotlights Artist SEAN CHEN

Special Guest Spotlight: Sean Chen

HORSHAM, PA, July 12th, 2020

Zenescope Entertainment is proud to announce that comic book artist, Sean Chen, will be appearing as a special guest for our Zenescope Virtual Beach Con on Thursday (July 16, 2020) from 3:00 - 3:30 PM EST! We will be hosting an interview with him, and will open it up to fans for Q&A afterwards.

Sean Chen is one of the comic book industry's top veteran artists, having started his career over a decade ago after being discovered by the legendary Barry Windsor-Smith. He began his career at Valiant Comics, penciling X-O Manowar, Bloodshot, Harbinger, and others. His debut book, Rai and the Future Force #9, sold over 900,000 copies.

He then moved on to Marvel Comics where he drew a memorable run on Iron Man for over three years, one of the longest modern day streaks for a monthly title. His other works included Wolverine, Elektra, and X-Men:The End. Sean's run on Wolverine propelled him onto Wizard: The Guide to Comics top ten artists list while pushing the book into the top ten in sales each month. Sean is currently the monthly illustrator on Batman Beyond, and has a creator-owned webcomic called "The Second To Last Seal" which you can follow on Instagram@nextchaperpost.com.

He also lends his talents to Marvel's Creative Services Division where he contributes to style guides and licensing art - including box cover illustrations for the Iron Man video game.

Sean is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University where he received a bachelor's degree in industrial design. Aside from comic books, he applies his creative talents by designing furniture and home renovations, specializing in kitchens and molded concrete countertops.
