Special Guest Spotlight: Jason Metcalf HORSHAM, PA, July 10th, 2020 —
Zenescope Entertainment is proud to announce that comic book illustrator, Jason Metcalf, will be appearing as a special guest for our Virtual Beach Con on Thursday (July 16, 2020) from 1:00 - 1:30 PM EST! We will be hosting an interview with him, and will open it up to fans for Q&A afterwards. Jason Metcalf is an American illustrator for the comics. gaming, and film industry. His first credits include ink assists alongside Joe Weems on Top Cow titles such as The Darkness and The Magdelina. He went on to pencil his first interiors on Ray Harryhausen's Wrath of the Titans Issue #4, and then cover and interior art on IDW's Eternal Descent. This has since opened up doors for producing cover art for various publishers such as Zenescope, IDW, Valiant, DC, Absolute, Coffin Comics, and Action Lab.
Jason also has experience in producing art for film and television. He provided story art for the Game of Thrones' History of Westeros backstories and character concept art for Stan Lee's POW! Entertainment.
He is known for his detailed pencil and ink drawings of superheroes and fantasy archetypes. He routinely does commission sketches at shows and at home for clients.
