Rumbling - The New Aftershock Newsletter
UNDONE BY BLOOD TPB COVER

Regular readers of Rumblings will recall when we wrote a few weeks ago about greenlighting a second story arc for Zac Thompson and Lonnie Nadler and Sami Kivelä’s hit neo-western series UNDONE BY BLOOD, we also mentioned that more news would soon be coming. Well, here it is!

Announced earlier today at The Hollywood Reporterbigbaldhead productions, founded by Norman Reedus and Brillstein Entertainment’s JoAnne Colonna, and with former AMC exec Amanda Verdon heading the company, has closed a deal to adapt UNDONE BY BLOOD, with an eye toward Norman Reedus to star.

This exciting news for fans of the series comes just two months before the collected edition of the first arc, UNDONE BY BLOOD or The Shadow of a Wanted Man, is due in comic shops – featuring a foreword written by Norman Reedus himself!

Be sure to ask your local comic shop to set aside a copy for you – and saddle up!

The Truth is Worth Fighting For

As a child, James Bellyi watched his father die in the ring as payback for slurs he threw at his opponent. Today, James is a Mixed Martial Arts star at the top of his game, and one of the most popular fighters in the world...until he’s outed as gay in his title shot press conference.

Abandoned overnight by his training camp, his endorsements, his fans and his sport, to regain his title shot, Bellyi is forced to turn to the last person he ever wanted to see again: Xavier Mayne, a gay, once-fighter in his own right...and the man James watched kill his father.

A singular achievement from writers STEVE ORLANDO (Martian Manhunter, DEAD KINGS) and PHILLIP KENNEDY JOHNSON(AquamanAdventure TimeThe Last Time), and artist AL MORGAN (MidnighterDaredevilBattlestar Galactica).

...an exceptionally gripping read from the very first page...If you have any interest in comic book storytelling you should be reading this.” – Darryll Robson, Monkeys Fighting Robots

JUST ANNOUNCED

KNOCK ‘EM DEAD COVER

We’ve got more news this week than you can shake a stick at – or, more appropriately, throw a pie at!

Sometimes you kill. Sometimes you get killed. But no matter what, everyone dies the first time they go on stage.

Pryor Brice has always wanted to be funny – and now he’s taken the plunge and started doing stand-up comedy. Unfortunately, his older sister, Ronan, wants her brother to stop daydreaming and focus on his future.

Pryor is determined to succeed…the only problem is: He totally sucks at stand-up. That is until an accident changes everything, leading both Pryor and Ronan to discover comedy isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

Coming your way in December, KNOCK ‘EM DEAD is a supernatural horror about the high cost of “making it,” brought to you by writer Eliot Rahal (MIDNIGHT VISTA, HOT LUNCH SPECIAL) and artist Mattia Monaco.

The Hollywood Reporter has a first look here.
