Stay-At-Home Theater: HIS DARK MATERIALS, SEASON ONE. A simple plot but enough layers and side-stories to hold your attention. Great special effects and landscapes. Good acting. Intriguing plot. The first story ends and segues into the beginning of the next, which made me glad when I learned of plans for a Season Two. I recorded this series on HBO beginning in December 2019 and it's taken me this long to finish up. Not the fault of the series - - completely on me. I just record more things than I can get to within a reasonable time. Thank god I'm not working full-time anymore -- I'd never catch up!
