STAY AT HOME THEATER: Wonder Woman 1984 on HBO Max. I just
could not get involved with this movie. Mediocre script. Over the top acting
by Pedro Pascal that's so bad it's embarrassing. Kristen Wiig is out of her
element, best suited to comedic only roles. Even Chris Pine can't save this.
I resorted to watching this in 10-15 minute segments over the course of the
last month, and then ended up missing the last 40 minutes because I couldn't
finish it before HBO Max deleted it. The best scene for me is in the opening
act with the Olympic-style games featuring a young Dianna. Ho hum. TWO
STARS.
