GOTHAM Actor Appears At Local Comic Shop For BATMAN Event

EDITOR’S NOTE: Tomorrow, Saturday May 8th, actor PHIL E. EICHINGER will be appearing at MAROON HORNET COMICS & COLLECTIBLES at 19 South Third Street in Oxford, PA from 1-3 p.m. Phillip Eichinger,  who portrayed Detective Culpepper in the FOX TV show GOTHAM, will be at the comic shop to meet fans of the show and sign autographs.   Phil also has made appearances in Do No Harm, Difficult People and Law & Order. Autographs will be FREE and don't fear if you have nothing related to GOTHAM. He will have some unique items for all. The Maroon Hornet will also have assorted Batman comics available for $1.00 each and will also offer 20% off any Batman related item not already on sale. Sounds like a fun event. I hope to see you there.

Phillip E. Eichinger is a native of Staten Island, New York. As a young child, he enjoyed drawing, especially cartoons, family portraits, and war scenes which helped build the foundations of his creativity.

His life has led him down many paths, including a life-long love of hockey. Phil began playing hockey early, and continued right through college and graduate school. He tried out for semi-professional hockey teams in both Canada and the U.S., finally earning a spot on the roster of the IHL Ohio Valley Ice Cats. Unfortunately, the League folded a few months after that.

From there, Phil tried his hand at managing a baseball card shop while writing a self-published novel and creating art. In 2005, he was inspired by a New York City performance of a play (Glengarry Glen Ross) to pursue an acting career. His first role on stage was Dale Harding in a production of One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest at the same community college where he studied acting.

In addition to his acting career, Phil remains active in the art world. He is also an accomplished musician and lyricist, playing guitar, piano and drums. He’s written scripts for plays and short films. His short film Suits Don’t Matter has won multiple awards on the 2017 film festival circuit.
