Indie Project I LIKE ROBOTS Needs Some Kickstarter Love

EDITOR'S NOTE: Here's a way to support a group of indie creators in one fell swoop. After reading the details, I made a pledge. You can get all the details at  . . . . .

Chidrawgo has grown from a monthly drawing event in the basement of a Chicago comic shop to a collective of creators keeping each other inspired on a much larger map. We’ve produced zines, organized multiple cons, and kept creators connected and inspired through the pandemic by moving our events and community online. We are committed to uplifting the voices of rising creators of comics, illustrations, toys, and so much more, which is why we are proud to present to you:

I Like Robots is the first of what we hope to be many Chidrawgo Magazine graphic anthologies. This full-color, 8.5 x 11 inch magazine features 170+ pages of brand-new robot comics, illustrations, & more from over forty incredible indie creators. Every artist worth their weight in motherboards has a robot story roaming around in their databanks and we’ve assimilated a collection that is sure to have your positronic brain firing on all cylinders!

The Creators!

We feel incredibly lucky to have attracted the attention of an inspiring group of creators with diverse identities, backgrounds, art styles, and storytelling abilities. Backing this project means that you are directly supporting these creators and making sure their stories get distributed as far as our hoverboards will take us, making you an indispensable part of this community. We've added their website and social media links just under the preview pages below so make sure to check them out and give them a follow!

The Covers!

I Like Robots features two outstanding covers!

The Kickstarter Exclusive cover features art made by actual robots! We teamed up with Chicago's only robot fighting league: Robot Riot.  Armed with markers and paint we set these bad little bots loose a 60"x30" canvas area to make their marks on history. A cover so good it needs no title! (Spoilers: the title will be on the spine.)

Our classic cover features art from the awe-inspiring Kyle Faehnrich, with colors by Kyle Faehnrich and the ever-talented Eric Wolfgang

With covers like these you're definitely going to want to get both!
