GARY SCOTT BEATTY'S Halloween Greetings

Happy Halloween! I've been too dang busy to do much scary stuff this October, but living in the Gods of Aazurnworld, I get horror pretty much all year.

The Munsters are free with ads on PeacockTV.

Of many reference to the original trilogy in The Mandalorian (Disney+) my favorite is when two storm troopers try to shoot at a can. We've always kidded that storm troopers never hit anything and here it is: they either have crappy guns or are extremely bad shots.

Mike Sealie is a great guy who knows heroes! This is a project worth checking out (I did some of the colors). He has done Marvel, Warner Bros. and DC projects for Upper Deck and Cryptozoic, as well as Lucas Arts projects with TOPPS.

Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation) recently weighed in on increased
accountability for people with horrendous views and behaviors and the question of art versus artist. Well put, Wil.

"I'm not the pope of chilitown, so take this for what it's worth: I believe that when some piece of art is deeply meaningful to a person, for whatever reason, that art doesn't belong to the person who created it, if it ever did. It belongs to the person who found something meaningful in the art."

"If it feels right to you to put it away and never look at it again, that's totally valid. But if it brings you comfort, or joy, or healing, or just warm familiarity to bring it out and spend some time with it, that's totally valid, too."

In glorious service to our Aazurn overlords,
Gary Scott Beatty
