A possible elevator pitch for this one: a Jackie Chan film stuck inside a
Doctor Strange film.
I finally saw this, at home on Disney+. Great film, lots of fun. Incredible fight
scenes. I thought the first half (in the real world) moved faster than the second
half (in the mystical land). The script ties in Shang-Chi to the Marvel Cinematic
Universe, links him to the true Mandarin and establishes his background.
A lot gets accomplished in-between the fast-paced action. A good cast
with lots of promise from the new actors. This one exceeded my expectations.
