Columnist GARY SCOTT BEATTY Uncovers Some Cool Videos To Share, And A Big Announcement

EDITOR'S NOTE: Irregular columnist and friend of the blog Gary Scott Beatty has one of his indie works being re-released by Source Point Press. I know what it is, but I won't steal the thunder from Gary. However, you don't want to miss it. It is my favorite of all his works, and a cool departure from his usual eerie Lovecraft-influenced horror comics (although I love them too!)  Here's Gary to tell you all about it . . . ..
There's a NEW RELEASE of a great story of mine coming through Source Point Press, preorder THIS MONTH at (appropriate enough) comic shops! Details here soon.

Here's a hint, illustrated by Aaron Warner.

Few songs KICK as much as this title to Cowboy Bebop. Funny Japanese cartoonists in 1998 understood so well what makes '50s American big band pop. Love that cluster chord near the end.

Composer Yoko Kanno talks jazz. The new Cowboy Bebop live action series has hit Netflix!

This self-converting, programmable, voice activated Transformer is pretty damn cool.

Coming: Lightyear!

And an interesting introspection from Charles Schultz through Charlie Brown in Peanuts.

Find some peace this weekend and make time to read, you know you want to. Don't let winter force you out of the woods. This coming snow thing is no match for heavily insulated outerwear, wool socks, and quality long underwear.

In glorious service to our Aazurn overlords,
