Guest Column by Author JOHN EVERSON: Attention, GIALLO Fans!

Gue

A SURVEY OF GIALLO:
21 Nights of Giallo is going on now!

THERE ARE JUST
two weeks left until the release of Five Deaths for Seven Songbirds. To lead up to the release of my giallo homage novel, I'm reviewing a classic giallo film every night on my blog!

So far in this first week, I've covered films by some of the key directors - Dario Argento, Sergio Martino and Lucio Fulci. My reviews have covered Deep Red, The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh, So Sweet...So Perverse, Puzzle, Death Laid an Egg and What Have They Done to Solange? To close out week one, tonight I featured Fulci's wild and twisted (in so many ways) A Lizard in a Woman's Skin, featuring Florinda Bolkan, Anita Strindberg and Jean Sorel, If you love giallos like I do, I hope you'll check out some of the reviews as the nights go on.

I've been posting each night about these on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram... if you can share my posts and help spread the word... I'd appreciate it!

Lock in your Death:
Pre-order Five Deaths For Seven Songbirds This Week!

IF YOU'RE INTERESTED in Five Deaths for Seven Songbirds and haven't already reserved a copy, please consider pre-ordering one this week!

I never used to pre-order things myself, but I've learned that the more pre-orders a book has on its release day, the more promotion Amazon gives it (because they see there is interest). So... I'd love for this one to launch with a good push!

The paperback, hardcover and ebook editions will all be available on March 22nd:

SEE YOU IN CINCY?
Five Deaths to debut at HorrorHound Weekend!

I JUST GOT WORD last week that I will have a booth at HorrorHound Weekend, March 25-27 at the Sharonville Convention Center in Cincinnati! Due to all the holdover reservations they had from vendors of the cancelled show during COVID, I did not have a guaranteed slot until a couple vendors pulled out. So... I'm pretty excited. I love HorrorHound and it's the perfect week to be on the road since Five Deaths for Seven Songbirds will be released that same week!

HorrorHound will have lots of cool guests ranging from Neve Campbell and Adrian Barbeau to Tony Todd and Ted Raimi. They've got Scream cast reunions, Walking Dead cast reunions and a bunch of actors from Halloween Kills. Hope to see some of you there!
