A SURVEY OF GIALLO: 21 Nights of Giallo is going on now!
THERE ARE JUST two weeks left until the release of Five Deaths for Seven Songbirds. To lead up to the release of my giallo homage novel, I'm reviewing a classic giallo film every night on my blog!
So far in this first week, I've covered films by some of the key directors - Dario Argento, Sergio Martino and Lucio Fulci. My reviews have covered Deep Red, The Strange Vice of Mrs. Wardh, So Sweet...So Perverse, Puzzle, Death Laid an Egg and What Have They Done to Solange? To close out week one, tonight I featured Fulci's wild and twisted (in so many ways) A Lizard in a Woman's Skin, featuring Florinda Bolkan, Anita Strindberg and Jean Sorel, If you love giallos like I do, I hope you'll check out some of the reviews as the nights go on. I've been posting each night about these on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram... if you can share my posts and help spread the word... I'd appreciate it! |
