I'll be on hand to assist with FREE COMIC BOOK DAY and talk AfterShock Comics, hoping to introduce as many new readers to their diversity of genres and titles as I can. Please stop by if you're in the area. I'm bringing my box of AfterShock back issues; and there are three ways you can get some free comics from me. 1.  Buy an AfterShock comic or trade paperback from The Comic Store. THE COMIC STORE FREE COMIC BOOK DAY DETAILS Hours are 9:00AM to 7:30PM As always, each customer receives one free comic book. For each additional COMIC, we request that YOU MAKE A 50 CENT donation (collected at the register). All of the donated money will be used to buy graphic novels and books for the Lancaster County libraries.   Last year,  The Comic Store collected over $1500.00 for the local libraries DURING THIS EVENT. .  Seven years ago, The Comic Store won the National Award FOR Best Charity from Diamond Comic Distributors for its efforts in sponsoring this fund-raiser.   Please check out the FCBD Home Page  Free Comic Book Day website  for a detailed list of the free comics available on May 7th! . THERE ARE GREAT TITLES FOR ALL AGES!   Joining us for the daily festivities will be Mike Clarke, our local AfterShock Comic Ambassador who will be giving out free AfterShock comics to customers who purchase AfterShock comics or graphic novels from our inventory.   The local chapter of the Ghostbusters will also be on hand as well as other surprise guests.
