MALIGNANT on HBO: This one did not meet with sufficiently favorable reviews
so I'm not sure if the sequel will ever be forthcoming. Naturally, the
ending leaves an opening for such. However, it certainly contains an
abundance of chills and thrills, especially during the first half when the
premise is still a bit mysterious and horrific. It sorts of morphs into a
super-powers horror story mid-way through. The source of such unnatural
strength is not really clarified, but don't think about it too much. Just watch
for the thrills, action and incredible choreography. FOUR STARS.
