HALLOWEEN KILLS on HBO: I recorded this on my DVR several months ago
and was saving it for October. It doesn't disappoint, although it seems much
bloodier and brutal than other entries in this franchise. This is a continuation
of the last film with an aging Laurie Strode doing her bad-ass best to take
down Michael Myers. Of course you knew he would get out of the fire trap
he fell into in the last film. This was satisfying as a decent slasher flick, but
the ending left me wanting a little more resolution. FOUR STARS.
