Baltimore Comic-Con Welcomes Star Wars Actor Samantha Alleyne

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND - August 25, 2023 - The Baltimore Comic-Con hits the Inner Harbor's Baltimore Convention Center September 8-10, 2023. The Baltimore Comic-Con is thrilled to announce the addition of media guest Samantha Alleyne on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the 2023 event. Samantha Alleyne, best known for portraying the first ever female Stormtrooper in the Star Wars galaxy, is an actress and model from London. She made such an impression, she has appeared in five of the last Star Wars movies as well as the highly acclaimed series, Andor.

She doesn’t always wear a helmet, though. She portrayed X-Wing pilot Allie Samta in The Rise of Skywalker and appeared as an Amazon in Wonder Woman 1984, also being a stand-in for Gal Gadot.

“Having a member of the Star Wars universe with us is amazing,” said Marc Nathan, Baltimore Comic-Con promoter. “It is such a generational property, from the original premiere in 1977 through the newly-released Ahsoka, the comics, the games, the animated series, the novels, it is a part of the culture, and so is Samantha. Fans are going to want to meet the first female Stormtrooper at the show!”
