Comic artist Ron Wilson will be among the guests at The First State Comic Con this coming Sunday (January 14) at the Mill Creek Fire Hall, 3900 Kirkwood Highway, Marshallton (Wilmington) Delaware.
While he worked for several publishers, the Brooklyn-born Wilson was a mainstay at Marvel Comics for nearly 20 years, from 1973 through 1991, with his work featured on various titles from Avengers Annual #18, Fantastic Four Roast #1, Marvel Comics Presents, What If? and others.
He was the featured artist on the full run of Masters Of The Universe based on the He-Man action figure toys (1986-1988). Wilson is best known for his work as regular artist on Marvel Two-In-One featuring The Thing from 1975-1978 and again from 1980-1983. He also teamed with John Byrne on The Thing (1983-1986).
