[CHICAGO — January 29, 2020] Devil's Due Comics is excited to announce the follow-up to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Freshman Force, which became 2019's most talked-about comic after portraying the Democratic congresswoman as a corrpution-fighting superhero. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Freshman Force: Squad Special
The brand new sequel to AOC and the Freshman Force draws inspiration from the tight-knit, self-proclaimed congressional "Squad" that bonds AOC, Ayanna Pressley, Rashida Tlaib, and Ilhan Omar. The comic continues some of the most popular Capitol Hill adventures from the original Freshman Force comic, and showcases several new storylines.
Talk Bernie to Me: The Bernie Sanders Special & AOC Surprise Originally released in the summer of 2019, this anothology comic portrays the two-time Presidential candidate as a full-fledged populist superhero. Talk Bernie To Me! is chock full of short-form Bernie comics, Trump and GOP skewering, plus satirical games, puzzles, and a dollop of AOC, naturally.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Freshman Force: New Party, Who Dis?
Originally released in May, 2019, the debut AOC comic from Devil's Due sees the freshman congresswoman engage in a series of super-heroic mini-adventures as she takes on the GOP establishment from within. To boot, the anthology satirically pokes at everyone from President Trump to his near-endless team of morally-compromised Republican cronies. AOC confirmed to TMZ she was humbled and honored by the comic, saying she hoped it would inspire people to discover their inner superheroes.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and the Freshman Force: Ballot Box Collection features contributions from several acclaimed and award-winning writers/artists, including Jill Thompson (a Neil Gaiman collaborator and creator of the Scary Godmother graphic novels and TV special), Dean Haspiel (Emmy-winning title designer and longtime collaborator with Harvey Pekar on American Splendor), Jose Garibaldi: (Lego Movie 2, TMNT, Captain Underpants graphic novels), and more.
