BALTIMORE, MARYLAND - October 12, 2021 - The Baltimore Comic-Con returns to the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore's beautiful Inner Harbor this October 22-24, 2021. Tickets are available now for General Admission, VIP, and Fan Packages. Friday features Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang discussing their popular Paper Girls series. There’s also a reunion of revolutionary publisher, First Comics; Thom Zahler, Dean Haspiel, and more on creator-owned comics; David Petersen, Becky Cloonan, and others talk Anything But Super Heroes; and Todd Dezago and Craig Rousseau share tales of the Perhapanauts.

You do not want to miss our spotlight panel with Marvel’s Joe Quesada on Saturday! 11:00-12:00 - Kids Love Comics on Tour! Jumpstarting Reading and Literacy with Comics Helping kids get back to reading is a major challenge in the post- and current pandemic world. But comics (and the Kids Love Comics! team) are coming to save the day! In this panel for educators and parents (and any interested kids!), KLC Founders Jimmy Gownley(Amelia Rules!, Dumbest Idea Ever), Harold Buchholz (Archie Comics, MST3K), and John Gallagher (Max Meow, Buzzboy) are joined by Jamar Nicholas (Leon series, Scholastic Graphix) to launch a new initiative to get comics creators in schools and graphic novels in the hands of every single student. KLC will offer up a unique plan for school districts to directly engage with some of kids’ favorite creators in the comics market, all while increasing participation and literacy for students. Every attendee will receive a FREE all-ages comic book, or graphic novel with an accompanying lesson plan for use in the classroom or at home!

COVID Policy Due to concerns over the spread of COVID, we will be putting some safety measures in place. Approved face coverings will be worn by all while indoors at the convention, meeting the City of Baltimore's mask mandate. Must fit properly and snugly, fully cove ring both the nose and mouth and secure under the chin. Face coverings with valves, mesh, costume masks, damaged masks, neck gaiters, and face coverings that cannot be secured under the chin will not be allowed. Face coverings must be visible at all times. Any headwear or cosplay pieces that cover the face in a way that does not visibly follow the face covering policy will not be allowed. Proof of vaccination -OR- Proof of a negative COVID test within 72 hours of admission Proof of vaccination with any vaccine approved or authorized by the WHO or the FDA may be presented on a smart phone, or with a physical copy of the card along with a government issued ID that matches the name on the proof. Self-test results will not be accepted as proof of a negative COVID test. Applies to all attendees, vendors, guests, and convention staff.
