EDITOR’S NOTE: SINK remains my absolute favorite current horror comic, so good it compels me to share my excitement with readers and try to persuade them to check it out. Here’s a head’s up about the second collection. If you haven’t read a Sink issue yet, this is a good starting point. Read below for all the details . . . . .
Hey, there! Your pals from ComixTribe here in full on launch prep mode, with a few key things you need to know about our next big campaign...
1. There will be THREE versions of SINK: Blood & Rain (Vol 2) available for you to choose from, two of which are limited and exclusive to ComixTribe and will not be distributed through the Diamond. (We will offer a few retailer packages during the Kickstarter campaign for our VIP retailers.)
2. The Campaign will launch TOMORROW sometime between 6:45 and 7:30 AM (EDT) for those of you looking to get in as soon as the doors open. (Some rewards are extremely limited, so always a good idea to get in early!)
3. For the serious collector, we're dropping the SINK: Blood & Rain Collector's Box, that collects all three volumes, and is loaded with new SINK merchandise. These collector's boxes are very limited.
4. The SINK: Blood & Rain will collect SINK #6-10, plus a SINK Cover Gallery, Bonus SINK shorts, pin-ups and more!
5. Because the first few days of a Kickstarter launch are critical to a campaigns success, we will have a special EARLY BACKER BONUS for creators who get in the van with us early. More details to follow.
6. Back the campaign so you can CREATE A NEW SINK TALE with writer John Lees throughout the campaign. We're participating in the BREAK KICKSTARTER initiative, and will have some fun with the platform. During the campaign, John Lees will be sharing an ALL-NEW SINK tale... but will stop at key points throughout the story to have BACKERS make a key choice as to the direction the story takes. Think old school choose-your-own-adventure books meets Black Mirror: Bandersnatch and you sort of get the idea. This will be going on throughout the 14 day campaign, but you'll need to be a backer to help drive the story, and the earlier you jump in, the more opportunity you'll have to participate.
7. Since the van is already rolling, and the book is ready to print, we're running this campaign for just TWO WEEKS ONLY. And just like the series, this campaign will be a non-stop thrill-ride.
